Rhythms are essential in life. We see rhythms everywhere… it’s in nature in the times of day and within the seasons in a year. It’s in our lives as we grow, mature, and age. We can even see it in our language and when we speak and write. Language gives us examples of how it’s important to have times when we stop, moments to pause, instants to question, and times for action. One of the wisest men to have ever lived once said, “To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.” What can these seasons and rhythms teach us about how to live? Jesus said that he came to give life and life to the fullest, let’s look at that life and find those rhythms.
