Let’s Get Together . . . Online!
As we continue to extend compassion and care for our community in response to COVID-19 / Coronavirus, our services will be moving to an online platform until further notice. In the meantime, we invite you to join us online at https://eikon.online.church to watch the message, submit prayer requests, and chat with others in a safe space. Feel free to share the link and invite friends to join as we engage in a different style of faith community!
We will be offering identical services on Sunday mornings at 9am and 11am for all and a special eKids service at 10:15am for parents of preschoolers and elementary aged children. Our Eikon Youth service will also be moving to this online platform on Wednesday evenings at 7pm. We will also be announcing exciting opportunities for connection to our Middle and High Schoolers through our Eikon Youth Instagram. To continue partnering with parents of eKids and Eikon Youth, we are hosting a variety of resources at eikonchurch.com/parents. We are also in the process of developing a way to connect with your small group online, so stay tuned!
We know that God is doing something incredible through Eikon Church during this time, and we are uniquely positioned to be a light to people searching for some good news. So look for ways you can be the Church in your community. Share what you have with others who might need it. Check in on your neighbors. Continue inviting people to church—they can attend from their home or on their phone anytime!
We’re not going to let physical proximity keep us from telling others about Jesus, inviting them to hear His Gospel, and worshiping together at church online, because now more than ever, people are searching for hope and peace. Let’s show them where to find what they’re looking for as we invite them to church this weekend.
You can also download the Eikon app and enable push notifications to receive updates on your phone. We look forward to seeing you online this Sunday!

Dear Eikon Family,
Out of compassion and care for our community and those with fragile health and compromised immune systems, in response to COVID-19 / Coronavirus, we’ve decided to cancel our Sunday gathering this weekend. This is a simple thing we can do to “flatten the curve” and support local efforts to lessen the impact. We are monitoring developments and will keep you updated as things evolve.
We will have our service uploaded to our website and added to our YouTube channel tomorrow, so that we can continue in our series as a church together in our homes—you get to have church in your PJs . . . enjoy it! If you normally give in person, please consider giving online so we can continue to do the work of the church in our community. We will keep you posted as to subsequent weeks based on what is needed at the time.
A church is not a building or a service . . . the church is a group of people. And sometimes, our love for one another and our community looks like doing what we can to protect the most vulnerable. We are not fearful, we’re just being responsible. We can do this. We are a community that gathers, not just a gathering. Sometimes love looks like empty chairs.
If you have children or youth we will be posting resources for you to help talk with your children about this time and what they may be feeling and thinking. Those will be sent out through our Family Ministries email platform and on our private eKids/Eikon Youth Facebook groups for Preschool / Elementary / Teens. For assistance with those resources, please contact Amanda Martinez at [email protected].
The church staff and elders are still hard at work; we are not closed. We are open to meeting with you for coffee or around town or at the office as needed. Take care of each other. If you need to talk with someone or need prayer, please call us at (512) 298-2013 or email us at [email protected]. We love you.
God bless and be well!
