We are commissioned in Matthew 28:19 to go and make disciples of all the nations. The scriptures empower us to preach and teach a gospel message of hope and salvation not just with our words but also through our actions. Who in your workplace needs to experience or hear about the joy and hope of Christ that lives in you? Who in your neighborhood needs to be listened to or prayed for? Who do you interact with regularly in your community that would benefit from a word of encouragement or act of service? Pave the way for the Great Commission to come alive today as you spread a little Heaven here on Earth.

Often we want to take a bold step to share our faith-filled testimony, but we aren’t sure how to start or if we will say the ‘right’ thing. The truth of Matthew 28:20 reminds us that God is with us always—literally at all times, every day. You may be replaying all the ways the scenario could go wrong, but don’t buy the lie. The idea of being vulnerable might seem scary and overwhelming, but you can find peace knowing the Lord is with you. Pray today that God would give you words to share with others that point them to know who He is and what He’s doing in your life. Then, trust in Him and make your move!

Look down at your feet and think about all the places your feet have taken you throughout your life thus far. Now take a look at Romans 10:15 and think about the power that exists in your ability to move from one place to the next. Think about all the people that you have been able to interact with and share life, hope, and good news with. Take a Sharpie marker to the sole of your shoes and write, “Romans 10:15” on the bottom. As you pray today, touch your feet/shoes and ask God to continue leading you to spaces and people that will allow you the opportunity to share His Good News with those who need it.

Purpose feels elusive, but passion lives within you. What are you passionate about? Is it hunger, homelessness, or human trafficking? Is it orphans, the elderly, or widows? Take time today to read over Matthew 5:16 and think about how you can connect your passionate pursuits with proclaiming the light and hope of Christ. If you’ve been putting off getting involved with online/offline communities related to the things you are passionate about, take a step towards that today. Don’t let fear, doubt, or negative self-talk win the day. Instead, walk in truth as you shine the light and hope of Christ everywhere you go!

We know we can’t do everything, but we can all do something! Acts 1:8 guides us to be a witness both locally and globally. As a follower of Jesus, how can you make an impact in those areas? We want to equip you to take a next step to help further the gospel overseas as we embark on our first Eikon Missions Trip to Monclova, Mexico. Would you take some time today to prayerfully consider how you can be a part? Whether that be supporting someone on the trip, applying to take the trip yourself, or committing to pray for the missions team, the pastors and people of Centro De Alabanza, you have a unique part to play!

  • What new skill would you love to learn or try?
  • What is one new place in the world that you would love to visit?
  • Have you ever traveled outside of the US? If so, what was your experience like?
  • If you could travel anywhere, all expenses paid, where would you go?
  • What are you passionate about right now?
  • What are ways that you can live out Acts 1:8 in your city, state, and in the world at large?
  • Are you interested in going on the Eikon Missions Trip to Monclova?
  • What does it look like to be a “witness” wherever you go?
  • How can you reflect Micah 6:8 in your workplace, your neighborhood, in the community, and at church?
  • Will you join us in praying for Pastor Chuy, his wife Chely, and the church community at Centro De Alabanza in Monclova, Mexico?
